Class Descriptions

June 22, 29

12:30 – 2:30

Using an original pattern, you will crochet a pair of toe-up socks made to fit. You will need to know how to read a pattern, how to work in the round and in rows. The pattern is broken down into steps, and you will learn the toe and foot, heel and gusset, and the leg. You will learn the extended single crochet and how to pick up stitches.

You will make a gauge swatch prior to the class (instructions will be given when you sign up,) and you will need to work on your socks during the week between classes.

Materials: 400 yards sock yarn and C, D, or E hook.  Also, stitch markers, pencil for note taking. Handouts will be provided. Please call The Yarn Store to register, or email Anna at fruitofthesehands@gmail.com.
